How to Conceal Your Blemishes
1. A blemish is a mark on the skin caused by pimples or blocked pores. Instead of feeling uncomfortable about how you look, keep a few basic makeup supplies on hand to conceal blemishes...
2. Wash your hands before handling your face. Dirt and oils on your hands will only aggravate the blemish.
3. Choose a concealer appropriate to the colour and type of blemish you wish to hide. Concealer is creamier foundation makeup with added pigments intended for specific parts of your face.
4. Pick a yellow-tinted concealer to hide red blemishes; choose a concealer lighter than your blemish for hiding darker marks.
5. Choose a masking cosmetic to hide more prominent blemishes, like small scars left from pimples or skin irregularities.
6. Apply the concealer over the blemish using your finger, an eye shadow brush or sponge.
7. Blend the edges with the surrounding skin, using a circular motion. Set with a special setting powder, apply oil-free foundation and powder.
