How to wear clip-on earrings
1. Clip-on earrings are the ones that have a hinged back instead of a screw. These can be simply forced open and placed on one's lobes.
2. And what's more, clip-ons are high on fashion quotient this season.
3. Place the earring on your earlobe, with the right side to the front.
4. Slightly push back the hinge with your thumb, such that your lobe is in between the hinged back and the ornate front.
5. When you feel that you've placed it correctly, let go off the hinge. And your earrings are in place.
6. The biggest complaint from people who wear clip-on earrings is that their earlobes feel pinched and uncomfortable all day long. Try using small foam cushions (available in the market) to relieve the pressure and keep the metal clip from touching your earlobe.
7. Also, clip-ons are so versatile that a little daring experimentation with them can make a fashionist out of you. Try clipping them on your lapel or a hat for a little burst of colour or sparkle. Or even the cuffs of a long sleeved blouse. Sparkling rhinestone clip-on earrings can look great when clipped to shoes or sandals.
